Viewpath integrates with Google Apps including Google Contacts, Drive, and Calendar.
Import your Google Contacts as Members into your organization. Members can then be assigned to tasks and given visibility to projects.
From the Organization > Members page click the 3-dot menu on the far right. Select Import Members from Google Contacts.
If this is the first time you are syncing Viewpath to your Google account, you'll need to walk through the authorization process. A pop-up box will be shown prompting you through the sync steps. Please ensure you have pop-ups enabled for your browser.
Once you've granted Viewpath access to your Google account, you'll be able to bring in anyone listed in your Google Contacts as a member to the organization you are currently in. As you select users, you'll see a checkmark next to those selected. Once you're done selecting, click Invite Contacts.
Users are added the Organization Members list. You can then apply Tags to those users.
The Viewpath integration with Google Drive allows you to attach files stored in Google Drive directly to a task. Open the Task Details Pane and select the Files tab. Click the Google Drive button and then select the file(s) you would like to add to this task.
If you attach a file stored in Google Drive, you do not change the permissions set within Google Drive for visibility, e.g. if the user does not have permission to view the document, they can see the file attached, and they can click the link, but they'll receive a message prompting them to ask the document owner to grant them permission.
You can add/access files attached to any task via the Task Details pane from the project Tasks tab, Searches, and your personal Home page and Dashboard.
Google Calendar integration is under development and coming soon!
