Creating a new Template is simple. Just click on the "Template" menu on the Projects page and click the "+" to create a new template.
Simply enter a Name for the Template, choose the organization the template belongs to, then click on the "Submit" button.
When the template is created, click the template on the list, and you can begin customizing your template.
Note: Anyone listed as a Resource on the Template with an access level of "Observer" or higher will have access to the Template in their account. Only an Editor or Owner will be able to make changes to the Template itself.
When a new project is created based on this template, that Project will reflect the most recent edits to the Template. Once the Project has been created, there is no direct association between the Template and that Project. Any edits made to a Template will not impact any existing Projects originally created from the Template.
You can rename the template, clone the template, or share the template by clicking the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner.
You can pre-build as much information as you like into the template. For example, parent/child relationships, Assignees or Tags, and task types. Once you have built out the template, it is available for project creation. Simply click the "Create Project" button at the top of the template, and follow the project creation prompts.
